Hit And Run

Hit and run is not “just a ticket.”  It can be either a misdemeanor or a felony depending on how bad the accident was.  A penalty for leaving the scene of all but the most minor of accidents often includes jail time (active or suspended) and a license suspension.  This is in addition to the possibility of a civil lawsuit if your insurance company does not pay for the damages another car owner or passenger may have suffered as a result of the accident.

If you've been charged with leaving the scene of an accident, you should discuss what happened with an attorney before you go to court.  Jennifer Raimo will give you an honest evaluation of your case in a nonjudgmental atmosphere.  Call (703)591-4868 to schedule your free consultation.
